Fine Arts
Young artists explore multiple mediums using a variety of tools through a process-based method. Units of study focus on line drawing, textures, printmaking, and color study. Our messy little artists enjoy creating masterpieces using a wide-array of materials from watercolors to bubble wrap and pastels to feathers.
Performing Arts
Performing Arts class builds a strong foundation of music knowledge for each child. From playing on the gathering drum to creating animal noises; our young musicians are learning to keep a beat, recognize rhythm, and appreciate sound through games, dances, songs, and stories. Performances begin in preschool, are held in our theater, and family and friends are always invited!
Physical Education
P.E. class in the early childhood is all about movement and fun! Students expand upon gross motor skills by playing games that strengthen core muscles and target skills such as aim, throwing, kicking, and balance while also practicing mindful moments. P.E. classes teach our youngest students that taking care of your mind and body is an intertwined and life-long habit.
Spanish
Spanish class is held once a week for preschool and prekindergarten students. Led by our Spanish teacher, students learn the basics of Spanish vocabulary such as colors, numbers, greetings, and weather through games, songs, and stories.
